Chasing the target of 197 runs, Yashasvi Jaiswal (24) and Jos Buttler (34) made a quick partnership of 60 runs for the first wicket. Jaiswal hit a six and a four against Matt Henry in the opening over, while Butler hit a brilliant six over the wicketkeeper against this bowler.
Yash, who came to bowl in the sixth over, ended the England captain’s quick innings of 34 runs in 18 balls after hitting fours from Butler and Jaiswal. After two balls, while trying to play a big shot on Stoinis’ ball, Jaiswal got caught by Ravi Bishnoi, due to which the team’s score went from 60 runs without any loss to 60 runs for two wickets.
Riyan Parag (14) hit a six against experienced Amit Mishra, who came on the field for the first time in the season as an impact player, but he was caught out on the next ball.
